This is really interesting! I really don't understand why the author of this short article wouldn't actually discuss epilepsy treatments though. Do we have evidence that epileptic seizures are less frequent during times of higher neural synchronization? Because if not, this finding doesn't actually lead to the possibility of new treatments.
