I like this a lot more than I was ready for on a Wednesday morning. At the risk of sounding trite... this track is evocative - like actually evoked some things in my brain and heart. It's transportative (I guess that's not a word). Like... it emotionally took me somewhere that's hard to explain. The synths are really full-bodied and suit the song really well The change from the high harmonies during the first verse contrasted with the lower harmonies on the second verse is >chef's kiss<. leaving me on the arpeggiated synth is perfect... I could go on... but instead Ima just go listen again. Tell me how I did on the lyrics: I see you on the corner You put your best clothes on Meet me at the bus stop We'll blow the whole town The bullies and the in-crowd Never go away You never gonna be one of them so what's the use anyway Why don't you just drive off the cliff Take the wheel Just rip rip rip Up the script It never read well You can send them all to hell They're better off that way [REPEAT]
